Falling Fruit Ireland is an urban harvesting project that collects surplus fruit from trees across the Dublin area and countrywide, and distributes it to charities and other good causes. The organisation coordinates volunteers to pick fruit from private gardens, public spaces, and other locations, and works with partners such as FoodCloud to ensure the produce reaches those in need. Since 2015, it has focused on reducing food waste and increasing access to fresh seasonal produce.
