IReL is a consortium of Irish research libraries that provides access to licensed e-resources for academic research. It manages open access publishing agreements and supports open science infrastructure, including the National Open Access Monitor and persistent identifier consortia for ORCID and DataCite. IReL also runs the Open Repositories Ireland network for repository managers and practitioners.
