Ireland Reads is a national celebration of reading, an initiative of the Government of Ireland funded by Healthy Ireland. It encourages people of all ages to read on Ireland Reads Day, which takes place on February 28th. The initiative is supported by public libraries and organisations that promote reading, literacy and the arts. The website provides book recommendations and a list of events across the country.
