The National Suicide Research Foundation (NSRF) is an independent, multi-disciplinary research unit that investigates suicide and self-harm in Ireland. It operates the National Self-Harm Registry Ireland, which records and reports information about people who visit hospital emergency departments for self-harm related injuries. The NSRF is designated as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Surveillance and Research in Suicide Prevention.
