Registered Gas Installers

Registered Gas Installers (RGI) is a scheme that registers gas installers who hold at least a GID qualification or equivalent in gas safety. From 1 September 2026, regulated Non-Domestic Gas Works must be carried out by a Registered Gas Installer. The scheme provides information for businesses on the scope of the regulation, how to check an installer's registration, and the requirements for engaging installers for commercial and non-domestic premises.
