The Helen Blake is a community project in Fethard-on-Sea, County Wexford, building a replica of the Helen Blake lifeboat, which sank off the Keeragh Islands in 1914. The project aims to develop community skills in marine craftsmanship, including boat building and carpentry, and to promote maritime heritage and tourism. The boat is being constructed by hand using traditional methods, with plans to operate marine tours as a social enterprise once complete.
