The PPI Ignite Network promotes excellence and inspires innovation in public and patient involvement (PPI) in health and social care research in Ireland. It is an all-island network with partner universities including Dublin City University, RCSI, Trinity College Dublin, University College Cork, University College Dublin, University of Galway, and University of Limerick. The network organises an annual PPI Festival and provides resources, case studies, and opportunities for involvement.

South Eastern Mountain Rescue

South Eastern Mountain Rescue (SEMRA) is a volunteer search and rescue team based in Clonmel, County Tipperary. The team provides a 24/7 service covering the Galtees, Comeraghs, Slievenamon, Knockmealdowns, Blackstairs, Slieve Blooms, and Ballyhouras mountains. Members are trained in first aid, stretcher evacuation, steep ground traverse, heights rescue, and search planning, and collaborate with national agencies such as An Garda Síochána and the Irish Coast Guard.
